THE WHITE HOUSE EASTER EGG ROLL and Mallori's 30th birthday

To start this story we have to go back a couple months!  When we found out about the move to DC we were so excited.  We started listing off things we could do.  Nathan was quick to react and entered us into the White House Easter Egg Roll.  It is a lottery that is only open for two days and from what we've been told is extremely hard to get into.  Most people that live here have never been and they say it is opened up to congressmen first.  Well, not much time past and we learned we made the list.   It happened to be on my 30th birthday so it was an extra special birthday.  After waiting in line after line, it was our turn.  You are on the lawn of the white house.  Where the play structure and white house garden are.  You can't get much closer to the door!  We had a great time doing the traditional egg roll, an egg hunt, egg dying, obstacle course, story time with Michelle Obama, and much more!  After the Egg Roll we checked out the Museum of American History.  The most memorable part was seeing the star spangled banner. It was such an amazing exhibit.  I never expected the flag t

o be as large as it was 30 x 40.
